Dynamically Embed a Web Page in a Power BI Report

Today I learnt a new thing from BI Elite which I am sharing with you. Now in a one window, one can study different blogs. I am using power bi for compiling different blogs from where you can learn a lot of things regarding Microsoft Power BI. You can also see my blog named “Power BI Lover”, which I used for analyzing and presenting different sort of information. 

Performance Analysis- with using Multi task visual

Great for displaying multiple KPIs in a single visual. The custom visual is published by Microsoft. In the visual multiple areas can be analyzed. Here I am analyzing total sales, total cost, total profit, average rate and quantity of my company in a particular date. Month Slicer can be used to see the behavior of your variables in different time scales. Moreover, the Product Slicer will also help to see the trend behavior of all the products or can see a single product. The important thing is that the chart has two areas one is Main Chart the other is Sparkline Chart. In our example the Main Chart by default will show the sold product quantity trend on the different date, whereas Sparkline Chart by default will show the trend behavior of sales, cost, profit and average rate. 2017 Census of Pakistan

The  2017 Census of Pakistan  was a detailed enumeration of the  Pakistani  population which began on 15 March 2017 and ended on 25 May 2017. The census was conducted by the  Pakistan Bureau of Statistics  for the first time in 21st century, after 19 years.   Initial estimates put the population at 20 crore (210–220 million).   The results showed a total population of Pakistan including of that of  Gilgit Baltistan  and  Azad Kashmir  at 212,742,631 million. Yearly population movement can also be seen since 1950. CAGR is also worked on and it is showing that as compare to last census (1998), population grew by 2.54% on an yearly basis. Punjab population share is 53% whereas sindh share is 23%.

FIFA Worlcup

The sport of  soccer  (called football in most of the world) is considered to be the world's most popular sport.  It is played by 250 million players in over 200 countries and dependencies, making it the world's most popular sport. In the first page of my blog, I showed the winners with relevant years and runners. You can use the options available in page 1 and see the behavior of the graph. You can see in the linear graph , radial graph, spiral graph and with different scales and layouts.  However, in page 2 there is a list of team which will play FIFA Russia 2018, all the groups are there and you can also see that which country belongs to which continent. The map will make it more interesting, I also incorporate the GDP size of the country with all the teams. You can see the size of the bubble on the map based on the $GDP. 

AUTOMATED FINANCIAL STATEMENTS ANALYSIS

Profit and Loss statement analysis: This is very good for financial analysis of the different business units, here we can see the current month financial vs. same month last year with the %change. I am also covering here Year to date (YTD) financial with same period last year. The picture is showing a very simple ERD which i used among the tables. Please see the table given below, this is based on embed code. All the visuals are interactive, you just need to select the business unit and the month, all the visuals will update accordingly. CAGR i.e. compound annual growth rate is also worked on which vary with changes in the year.  You can also check profitability trend and cost trend.

WORLD ECONOMY INDICATORS

World Economy I used Power BI tool to demonstrate the world economy and comparative analysis. In this blog, one can see the country wise GDP in $, YoY GDP growth, Debt to GDP ratio, inflation rate, interest rate, budget deficit and current account etc. All these indicators are very useful for the analyst and economist. It tells all about the economy performance and based on this one can also do the predictive and perspective analysis. Moreover, on a right side of the table given below, there is a slicer from which you can select the county and with click on Ctrl key one can select multiple countries and make a comparative analysis. The blog is also very useful for students since they can see the location of a country which will increase their knowledge. Please see the table given below showing that all visuals are interactive. When u select any country in the visual, all the relevant indicators will appear.
